John serves as Of Counsel to Clarke Silverglate.  John heads his own firm, John W. Wylie, P.A., where his practice areas include white-collar criminal defense, corporate compliance and internal investigations, select high-stakes civil litigation, appeals, and traditional criminal matters. John has extensive experience in both state and federal courts throughout the United States, having tried more than 70 jury trials to verdict.

John is a cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law. His dedication to public service led him to serve as a law clerk to current Chief Judge K. Michael Moore and the late Chief Judge Edward B. Davis in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  After practicing with an AmLaw 100 firm, John returned to public service by joining the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Miami, where he worked for eight years as a trial and appellate attorney.

John enjoys giving back to the community by combining his love of baseball and mentoring. Prior to law school, he graduated from Jacksonville University, where he was an All-Sun Belt Conference pitcher. After college, he played professional baseball in the California Angels organization. John is married to Stephanie, has three daughters, and enjoys volunteering as a youth softball coach and mentor.
