Clarke Silverglate Welcomes New Attorneys Barbara C. Lewis and Trevor Gillum

January 2019 (Miami, FL) – Clarke Silverglate, P.A. is pleased to announce that Barbara C. Lewis and Trevor Gillum have joined the firm as associate attorneys. 

Barbara C. Lewis, a long time Miami resident, received her BA degree with honors from the University of Virginia and her JD, also with honors, from the University of  Miami School of Law. While in law school, Barbara interned with the United States Department of Homeland Security and placed second at an international commercial arbitration competition conducted entirely in the Spanish language.  Prior to joining Clarke Silverglate, Ms. Lewis litigated class action and complex commercial matters at a litigation boutique firm. Barbara will practice employment law and general commercial litigation at Clarke Silverglate.

Trevor Gillum, a Florida native, received his BA degree from Fordham University, then returned to Florida for his JD with honors from the University of Miami School of Law. During his legal studies, Trevor interned for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and was selected to serve as a judicial extern for Justice R. Fred Lewis of the Florida Supreme Court. Additionally, he served as an editor on the International and Comparative Law Review and was published on the topic of electronic discovery. Before joining Clarke Silverglate, Mr. Gillum served a judicial clerkship with Justice Norma S. Lindsey of the Third District Court of Appeal. Trevor will practice in the areas of appeals and general commercial litigation with Clarke Silverglate.
