Spencer H. Silverglate elected to the IADC Board of Directors

Miami, FL – Spencer H. Silverglate, Managing Shareholder of the South Florida law firm Clarke Silverglate, P.A. was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) at their Annual Meeting held in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, July 9-14. The IADC is the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests. Founded in 1920, the IADC’s members hail from six continents, 51 countries and territories, and all 50 U.S. states. The core purposes of the IADC are to enhance the development of skills, professionalism, and camaraderie among its members, their clients, as well as the broader civil justice community.  The IADC is committed to respecting the rule of law and improving civil justice. 

Spencer H. Silverglate is the co-founder of the law firm Clarke Silverglate, P.A. in Miami, Florida. His practice focuses on the defense of companies in high stakes commercial, employment, and product liability litigation.  He has a long history of involvement with IADC serving as 2013 Convention Chair with his wife Kat and as 2015 Trial Academy Director at Stanford University School of Law, among other leadership activities. Mr. Silverglate has been selected by a variety of publications as one of the top attorneys in America and South Florida and is Past President of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Florida Association of Managing Partners. He received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida.
