Miami, Florida – John W. Wylie has become of Counsel to the Brickell law firm of Clarke Silverglate, P.A. Mr. Wylie is a seasoned trial attorney who has tried more than 70 jury trials. He has extensive experience in complex civil and criminal cases in both state and federal courts throughout the United States. His practice areas include white-collar criminal defense, corporate compliance and internal investigations, select high-stakes civil litigation, appeals, and traditional criminal matters.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Wylie served as a law clerk to current Chief Judge K. Michael Moore in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the late Chief Judge Edward B. Davis in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
After his judicial clerkships, Mr. Wylie worked for the law firm of Hunton & Williams, in its Miami office. Mr. Wylie later worked for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Miami for eight years, as a trial and appellate attorney.
