March 2022 (Miami, FL) – Clarke Silverglate, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Raul Alvarez has joined the firm as an associate.
Raul Alvarez graduated with honors from Florida State University College of Law where he served as the Managing Editor of the Florida State University Law Review, earning the Editor’s Award for Volume 47. While in law school, Raul also served as President of FSU’s Cuban American Bar Association chapter. Raul also was honored with FSU’s Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award for his commitment to public service, and the merit-based CABA Raoul Cantero Scholarship Award. Raul gained valuable experience during law school by interning under the Honorable Magistrate John J. O’Sullivan of the Southern District of Florida, and later at the Supreme Court of Florida under Chief Justice Charles T. Canady. At the Supreme Court, Raul wrote briefs on complex jurisdictional issues. He also served as a summer associate at a national law firm where he contributed to the firm’s representation of commercial clients and institutional lenders.
Before joining Clarke Silverglate, Raul represented developers, contractors, designers, and manufacturers in matters arising from the construction and use of real property. At Clarke Silverglate, Raul will focus his practice on the resolution of complex commercial disputes for the firm’s foreign and domestic clients.
