Clarke Silverglate Law Firm Welcomes New Of Counsel Attorneys Leonor Lagomasino and Ana Sarmento

May 2022 (Miami, FL) – Distinguished Miami attorney Leonor (Leo) Lagomasino has become of Counsel to the Brickell law firm of Clarke Silverglate, P.A.  Ms. Lagomasino, who currently heads her own firm, Lagomasino Law, P.A., joins with Clarke Silverglate after 17 years as a partner in Big Law preceded by 10 years as partner in a boutique litigation firm. For more than 30 years, Leo has devoted her practice to insurers as well as businesses and individuals in a broad variety of complex insurance defense and commercial litigation matters. Her financial and tax accounting background has been invaluable in obtaining positive results for her clients. 
Over the past fifteen years,  Leo has devoted much of her time and passion to DRI, an organization comprised of civil defense attorneys and in-house counsel. She has served the members of that organization as a frequent speaker at their seminars as well as the chairing of committees. In 2018 she was elected to a three year term as a National Director to the Board of Directors for DRI. On the local service to the community front, Leo served seven years on the board of the Deering Estate Foundation and Dade Heritage Trust for two years.
Ms. Lagomasino received her B.B.A. from Loyola University, New Orleans, Louisiana and her J.D the University of Florida College of Law ,Gainesville, Florida. 

Ana Sarmento has become of Counsel to the Brickell law firm of Clarke Silverglate, P.A.. Ms. Sarmento is a United States educated attorney practicing in 
Brazil after working in commercial and financial litigation in New York. Her experience and education bring another  valuable perspective to Clarke Silverglate’s already well-rounded team.
 
Ana received her B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D from Fordham University School of Law, where she competed as a member of the Brendan Moore Advocacy team helping clients secure special education services for their children through the Family Advocacy Clinic.  After her legal work in New York, Ms. Sarmento completed an LL.M. in International Arbitration at the University of Miami School of Law.
